I Shouldn’t Have To Pay For Nothin

Recently, I was at an all inclusive resort. (Shout out to mi familia for the opportunity). And I’m starting to think that life should be an all inclusive. We should all be able to survive in the world by doing little tasks.

I want to walk to a breakfast buffet and give them the last four of my social security number and then eat a moderately sized meal and drink a specialty coffee and then walk to another location where I create little contributions to society.

I would love to live in a world like this where we can all happily coexist. I don’t find pleasure in work, I find pleasure in adding value to other’s existence through my work. When I first joined the “workforce” after college, I was working in retail.

It fucking sucked that I had a degree from a shitty institution and I wasn’t even working in my field of study. So, I started focusing on what I was contributing to folks I came in contact with on a daily basis. That made the job bearable.

The thing(s) that makes jobs unbearable (in my experience, allegedly) is when you don’t see the immediate impact of your work, are unable to live as you wish on your wages, and/or deal with someone who is unreasonable.

I dunno… lots to consider. But maybe if we all just did jobs that made us happy and were able to reasonably consume whatever we needed to live. Maybe we could just be happy..

If you could do any job without having to worry about making money, what would you do? Reply and tell me, capitalist pig.

Shitty Business Ideas:

Hello Sharts, I have a 6 inch dildo, water based lubricant, and a g string. Should I do a little dance for you?

Let me set the scene. It's pride weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. All the gay bars have the craziest cover in history. You pay the cover and find out all 50 Charlotte gays went to the other gay bar tonight. You call another Lyft, you pay another cover. It's now 1 am. The bar just did last call. You are sober and not by choice.

This is why we need SpyCam. SpyCam is an app revolutionizing cities with small to medium sized queer communities by letting them know if that cover is actually worth paying. I don't know how it works, so don't ask me that.

Gay People Are Listening To:
Everything Ends By Leith Ross

Depression hurts. Cymbalta might help, but this song sure won't.

I really like how sad this song is. It makes me cry, especially when I am going through a change in my life. This song could be 100 minutes long and I'd stream the whole thing, but it's pretty short, and that's okay too. Its brevity really captures the sorrow and joy that can make up transitional phases of life.

Everything ends
From TV shows to parties
Everything ends
Every song and every meal
Everything ends
That's the saddest thing I think I'll ever hear

But everything ends
Bad dreams and sorrow
Everything ends
The ache that life has left
Everything ends
That's the sweetest thing I'll ever hear again
That everything ends

What do you think? Was it a bop or flop?
